There are a lot of activities (liturgical and otherwise) planned for this Lent at St. Augustine Parish. We have provided a guide below with links to additional resources. Please contact the parish office 978 475-0050 or info@staugustineparish.org with any questions.
Join us in the church for the Evening Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours every Wednesday evening throughout Lent and the Easter Season. Click here for an explanation of the Liturgy of the Hours (or Divine Office). For an excellent resource providing access in various formats to the prayers of the Liturgy of the Hours, visit the web site at Universalis.
Also on Wednesday evenings, St. Augustine Parish joins ALL parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston in offering the Sacrament of Reconciliation from 6:30-8pm in conjunction with “The Light is on for You”.
Stations of the Cross will be prayed every Friday at 7pm throughout Lent and at 3pm on Good Friday. Can’t make Friday night? Anyone may make their own “Way of the Cross” while the church is open. Please check the metal stand in the vestibule (entrance) of the church for various guides to praying the Stations on your own.
