The sacraments of Christian initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist—lay the foundations of every Christian life. (CCC 1212) The confirmed individual is ready to be an active witness to Christ in the visible structure of the Church, whatever form that witness may take.
Preparation for Confirmation for teens is a one year program when the young person is in eighth grade. Enrollment in the program is through our Youth Faith Formation program.
Adults who have been baptized into a Christian faith but who have not completed the sacraments of initiation or who have not received baptism but are interested in becoming a member of the Catholic faith should consult our Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA).
