The Liturgy of the Hours is prayed continually and without end by Catholics throughout the world.  At any given time someone will be praying this beautiful prayer which purpose is to sanctify the day and the whole range of human activity. Morning prayer and evening prayer, the two main hours, are accorded the highest importance.  Its readings are drawn from Sacred Scripture, God’s words in the psalms are prayed in his presence, and the intercessions, prayers, and hymns are inspired by Scripture and steeped in its Spirit.

During the season of Lent, we pray the evening prayer on Wednesdays in the church at 6:15pm.  For Holy Week, morning prayer is prayed at 8am during the Triduum – Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday.
