St. Augustine Parish is blessed to have more than 20 ministries which provide a variety of services within our parish and throughout our local community. Our parishioners truly understand what it means to respond to the call to service and to fulfill the corporal works of mercy. We encourage and welcome new volunteers. Please explore the numerous ministries from the links in the navigation menu and, if you would like more info or to join, contact the coordinator listed.
In compliance with Archdiocesan guidelines, all volunteers must complete an annual background check (CORI) and take a one-time-only Protecting God’s Children course. Included with the CORI request is a Code of Conduct. Once read, the CORI request may be filled out and submitted to a qualified representative of the parish. Submission of the CORI request implies that the submitter has read, understands and agrees to the content of the Code of Conduct. Both the Code of Conduct and the CORI request form for volunteers link for FY24 is available here or at the parish office .
(Staff and employees of RCAB are required to fill out a different form, please contact cori@staugustineparish.org for info). Please note that both your personal presence and a positive ID are required to complete the CORI form. All new volunteers should contact their staff liaison regarding compliance requirements at 978.475.0050 or via email.
