“Whatever you do for the least of my brothers and sisters, you do for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
At St. Augustine parish there is a ministry for actively putting into practice each of the corporal works of mercy:
- To feed the hungry
- To give drink to the thirsty
- To clothe the naked
- To harbour the harbourless
- To visit the sick
- To ransom the captive
- To bury the dead
Those ministries dedicated specifically to service are Bread and Roses, the Knights of Columbus, Helping Hands, the Parish Nurses, the Pro-Life Ministry and St. Vincent de Paul Society.
