If you are new to the parish or your child will be joining us for the first time next year, please contact the Youth Faith Formation staff to be included in our mailings.
The program begins in late September and runs through mid-April.
Registration is now open. We ask that you complete your child(ren) registration online.
Even if you are unsure of your child’s Fall schedule or other commitments, registering now is the best way to reserve your family’s place in the program. Schedule changes can always be made later.
Please note: Registration is complete only when both the registration form and tuition payment have been received. If tuition presents a financial hardship, please don’t hesitate to request financial assistance. We are committed to ensuring that every parish child in has the opportunity to grow in faith through our program.

A list of classes has been provided to help you choose the day and time of your class – please read carefully, especially in relation to times. Some of the times and length of classes have changed.

Sunday 8:00-9:15am – Grades 1-3
Sunday 10:45-Noon – Grades 2, 4-7
Sunday 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. – Grade 8 (Confirmation)* – Includes 5:30 p.m. Teen/Community Mass
Monday 4:15-5:30pm – Grades 2 & 5
Tuesday 4:15-5:30pm – Grades 1, 3, 4 & 6
Monday 6:00-7:15pm – Grade 7
Thursday 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. – Sacramental Preparation – Grades 3 – 12
Homeschool – Grades 3-6 only with permission of grade coordinator
*A make-up class session will be scheduled for the Confirmation class on the third Tuesday of every month from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.(see additional requirements for Confirmation students)
Registration Pricing
No one will be denied participation in the program due to financial constraints. Please email the Faith Formation Office to make arrangements with Lisa Round.
- One Child: $200 (plus additional fees*, if applicable)
- Two Children: $300 (plus additional fees*, if applicable)
- Three of More Children: $400 (plus additional fees*, if applicable)
*Add $50 to the above for each Confirmation child (8th grade)
Please Remember….
- Online registration payments are processed through our PayPal system, but you do not need a PayPal account. Simply choose the “guest” option to pay by credit or debit card. For the smoothest experience, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer rather than a phone. If you need any assistance, please contact Lisa Round at 978-475-0050 ext. 28.
- We share regular updates and essential information by email. If your email address changes, please let us know so we can stay connected. Our large group emails are sent through Mailerlite, so we kindly ask that you do not block or unsubscribe if you would like to continue receiving parish communications. If you use a work email address, please note that those systems sometimes block Mailerlite messages. Please also include any additional email addresses you would like us to use for your family.
- We also offer a text alert system for emergency class cancellations. If you would like to receive these notices, please include your cell phone number, as this is often the quickest and most reliable way for us to reach families in an emergency.
- A Baptismal certificate is needed for all children enrolling in grade 1 and for any student who is new to the program. If your child was baptized here at St. Augustine Church, please share the day, month, and year of the baptism with us.
- Classes for grades 1 through Confirmation are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the date when all registration materials have been received.
- Children who have completed second grade but have not yet received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion may be eligible to enroll in our Sacramental Preparation program after speaking with the Director of Religious Education.
- At this time, home schooling is not available as an option for students preparing for First Holy Communion or Confirmation. If, with the coordinator’s permission, your child is home schooled in another circumstance, the fees remain the same as they would be for classroom participation.
- Our faith formation classes are offered based on student enrollment, the availability of classroom space, and the generous service of our volunteer catechists. With nearly 600 children and young people participating in our program each year, this ministry is made possible through the faithful commitment of parish volunteers.
We invite you to prayerfully consider sharing your faith by serving as a catechist, either independently or alongside a teaching partner. Whether you have experience teaching or simply a desire to help young people grow in their relationship with Christ, you will be supported every step of the way. Our Youth Faith Formation staff provides comprehensive training, ongoing support, and opportunities for spiritual enrichment, ensuring that no one serves alone. - All teachers and volunteers must complete an annual background check (CORI), read and understand the Code of Behavior, and participate in the one-time Protecting God’s Children training program.
- During the online registration process, you are welcome to register multiple children from the same family.
